Bolly Tolly News, Kolkata 10th August,2017 : The biggest reality game show Kaun Banega Crorepati is back with its 9th season on Sony Entertainment Television. After 2 years, the most loved and respected mega star of Bollywood – , has begun shooting for the reality game show watched by every viewer globally.
Kaun Banega Crorepati (Who Will Become a Millionaire; popularly known as KBC) is an Indian television game show originally aired on Star Plus commissioned by the programming team of Sameer Nair.
Since 2010 it has been produced by Big Synergy. It is based on the UK game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.
Director Danny Boyle's 2008 film Slumdog Millionaire was loosely based on the show. The show's host, based loosely on Bachchan, was portrayed by Anil Kapoor. Kapoor himself has appeared on a celebrity version of the show.
Six years after the film's release, twin contestants named Achin & Sarthak Narula became the first winner of the show's top prize of 7 crores.
Before beginning the first episode, a ritual was held on the set followed by Amitabh Bachchan getting ready to begin shoot. The actor took to a microblogging site to and shared some glimpses of the set with a caption, “T 2509 - KBC on !! 2 back to back rehearsals.. and then to another studio for प्रार्थना की शुद्धता ! just back ।। and now Ef की शुद्धता".
Similarly, after completing day 1 of shoot, the actor shared some more images caption that’s said, “2510 - Just back from work ! and a day filled with reliving 17 years of KBC and my term with it .. 17 years !! goodness that is a lifetime.”
