A FENNN TRUST initiative brings forth “Go Cheese Indian Chef Awards, 2018” to give a National and International platform to all our talented Chefs
Bolly Tolly News, Kolkata, 25th September 2018- The Press Conference of “Go Cheese Indian Chef Awards”, a one of its kind initiative, took place in the City of Joy at “Hyatt Regency Kolkata” today in the esteemed presence of the Celebrity Chefs and the Judges: Chef Sabyasachi Gorai (Saby), Chef Vineet Manocha, Chef Sunil Soni, Regional Judge Chef Jayanta Banerjee & Chef Clement D’cruze along with Chef Rohan Parish, Corporate Executive Chef of “Go Cheese Indian Chef Awards”. “Go Cheese Indian Chef Awards” is the most prestigious and one of the biggest awards in India.
The “Go Cheese Indian Chef Awards is a FENNN TRUST” initiative is mentored by Chef Hemant Oberoi.
It is an award that gives youth the recognition in the culinary fraternity. The main objective is providing education & skill to young Below Poverty Line (BPL) students to enhance their future and promote the industry with highly skilled & trained individuals.
This award is dedicated to Late Chef Boris Rego who was martyred in the 26/11 shootout at Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Mumbai.
Speaking on the Occasion Chef Rohan Parish,Corporate Executive Chef of “Go Cheese Indian Chef Awards” said, “These Awards are a platform to bring forward and horn the skills of young chefs creating the path to recognize their talent. We are thrilled to be here in the City of Joy and we are overwhelmed with the response of the participants”.
Along with organizing a cook off simultaneously in Six Live Kitchens, “Delta Nutritives Pvt. Ltd”also organised master class sessions which was attended by an enormous number of participant chefs. The members of the workshop were thrilled to experience live demonstration. The master class sessions included chocolate making, pastry decoration, new ideas in confectionary and some of the best bread products.
All the participating chefs of “Go Cheese Indian Chef Awards” competed against the best in the industry and were judged on several criteria. Winners and Participants got recognition, fame and a platform to promote their talent.
The journey of “Go Cheese Indian Chef Awards”promotion began with Bangalore followed by Chennai and Kochi, and now in Kolkata. The next leg commences in Delhi, followed by Ahmadabad, Mumbai and culminates in Goa. The Grand Finale of the “Go Cheese Indian Chef Awards” will be held in Goa on 24th and 25thOctober 2018 followed by the Gala Award night on 27th October 2018.
The panelists comprise of Chef Rohan Parish, Mr. Prakash Sanghvi (M.D of Delta Nutritives Pvt. Ltd), Mr. Aashish Vijay, Brand Manager of Go Cheese- Parag Milk Food, Chef Clement D’cruze (Executive Chef of “Hyatt Regency Kolkata”), Chef Sabyasachi Gorai (Saby), Chef Vineet Manocha, Chef Sunil Soni, Chef Jayanta Banerjee, Mr. Niranjan Shah of Leo Packers & Movers Pvt. Ltd and Senior Managers of Elanpro and MB Sugar.
